Remote Wedding Video Editor


Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Wedding Video Editor to work remotely on cinematic wedding projects. The editor will handle 4-camera shoots recorded in S-Log at 4K resolution, with files shared via Frame.io. Projects will involve large file sizes ranging from 200GB to 500GB, requiring efficiency and attention to detail to craft high-quality videos that tell an unforgettable story. The editor will deliver the following outputs per project:

  • Full-Length Edited Wedding Film
  • Highlight Video (3-5 minutes)
  • Reel/Short Video (60 seconds) for social media platforms.

Responsibilities:

  • Edit multi-camera wedding footage into cinematic full-length films, highlights, and reels.
  • Perform advanced color grading for S-Log footage to achieve a polished, cinematic aesthetic.
  • Synchronize audio and video seamlessly across multiple cameras.
  • Add creative transitions, effects, and titles where needed.
  • Efficiently manage large file workflows and adhere to project deadlines.

Requirements:

  • Expertise in video editing software, such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro X (FCPX), or DaVinci Resolve.
  • Proven experience working with S-Log footage and multi-camera 4K editing.
  • A portfolio showcasing cinematic wedding video projects, including full-length edits, highlights, and reels.
  • Reliable high-speed internet to handle large file transfers via Frame.io.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to adapt to client preferences.

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of motion graphics (e.g., Adobe After Effects).
  • Familiarity with LUTs and advanced color grading workflows.
  • Experience editing high-volume, large-scale projects.
